Tinik Sa Dibdib (international title:Thorns In The Heart) is a Philippine Drama and a Sine Novela offering produced by GMA Network starring Sunshine Dizon/Nadine Samonte, Marvin Agustin, Ara Mina and now with Sheryl Cruz. It is a TV remake of the hit drama flick in 1980's which starred Nora Aunor and Phillip Salvador. The series was aired internationally, with an approximate one-week delay, from October 2, 2009 until January 28, 2010 on GMA Pinoy TV.

Lorna (Sunshine Dizon/Nadine Samonte) has always been the bread winner of her almost parasitic family. She already sacrificed even the education she deserves and the man that she loves. She fought for the new man in her life named Lando (Marvin Agustin), even if it means getting the ire of her mother and leaving their house. She thought he could save her from the kind of life she has, little does she know the new house she will live in has more twisted secrets inside. Lorna will try to figure out the mystery between her husband and her step-mother in-law and Ex Girlfriend Trixie and Rita (Ara Mina/Sheryl Cruz), her only key is her crazy sister in law, Corazon (or Moret) (Michelle Madrigal). The revelation will only bring her more thorns in her heart.
